Hey Reader,

Sometimes it’s best to show, rather than tell.

That’s why I’m just popping in really quick to share my favourite way to use AI when it comes to organising my family life.

I ask ChatGPT (or your AI tool of choice) to create a meal plan with specific dietary preferences, within a specific budget, and get it to generate a shopping list.

Prompt 1: Provide me a list of [vegetarian] meal ideas for [breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack] that are [300-600 calories each] and [include 30g of protein per service] but [under $250 a week].

Just replace the dietary preference, meal types, macros and budget as needed.

Prompt 2: Based on these meals, create a [weekly] meal plan that includes [breakfast, lunch and dinner] ideas for a week, keeping the total [calories under 1600.]

Swap the time frame, meals and macros for your preferences, this is just an example of what I would use.

Prompt 3: Create a shopping list based on this meal plan for [2 adults and 2 children under 12 years]. Ensure that the total shopping cost is [under $250 a week].

Adjust the number of people you are feeding and the budget to adjust quantities properly.

Play around with it. I think you’ll like it for the time and mental energy you’ll save.

Joyce xx

P.S. Subscribing to this newsletter is another way you can save time and mental energy! The events and activities we feature can’t be found on ChatGPT because they’re local events happening in the future AND we curate what we consider the best activities. So AI can do a lot, but it can’t do everything…!
